About the Role


As a Transaction Manager at ATS, you operate as both a transaction professional and a business owner within a supported system. You manage real estate transactions from executed contract through close while also participating in systematized prospecting activities to grow your agent base over time.


This is not a passive administrative role. It is a client-facing, relationship-driven, growth-oriented position supported by ATS leadership, tools, and coaching.


Core Responsibilities


Transaction Management (Contract-to-Close Execution)

  • Manage real estate transactions from executed contract through closing
  • Review contracts for accuracy and required forms (National, State & Local forms, as applicable)
  • Identify missing documents, errors, or discrepancies and communicate them clearly to agents
  • Track critical deadlines and milestones including
  • Coordinate with agents, lenders, title companies, and depending on the level of service, with buyer and seller clients
  • Maintain organized, broker-compliant transaction files and accurate commission requests where applicable


Communication & Relationship Management

  • Maintain professional, proactive communication 
  • Copy agents on all written communication
  • Conduct regular check-ins with assigned agents to review file status and upcoming deadlines
  • Represent ATS with professionalism, warmth, and consistency


Business Development & Prospecting (Required)

  • A core component of this role is active participation in business development and agent prospecting.  Transaction Managers are expected to:
  • Perform a systematized combination of individual and company-identified prospecting activities
  • Identify, target, and follow up with licensed real estate agents to obtain introductory conversations, interviews, and new agent signups
  • Engage in consistent outreach using ATS-provided tools, scripts, workflows, and coaching
  • Treat agent relationship-building as an ongoing part of their business


ATS provides the systems, training, and leadership support to succeed in this area. Willingness, consistency, and engagement are required; prior sales experience is not.  Candidates seeking a purely administrative or non-outreach role may not find this position to be a good fit.

 

Required Qualifications & Work Environment


These requirements are in place to ensure consistency, compliance, and a high standard of service for transaction management..  Candidates seeking to perform transaction must meet the following requirements:


Forms & Contract Knowledge

  • Ability to pass a basic written exam covering contract forms and REALTOR® Association forms prior to performing contract-to-close work
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with contract and REALTOR® Association forms
  • Ability to identify required addenda, missing fields, incomplete sections, and errors in executed contracts
  • Strong understanding of agency relationships and commission documentation requirements


Technical & Professional Requirements

  • Proficiency with internet-based software platforms and professional email communication
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when managing multiple active files
  • Ability to follow documented processes while exercising sound judgment


Workstation & Technology Standards

  • Dedicated home workstation with:
    • A primary external monitor (laptop-only setups are not sufficient)
    • A reliable, up-to-date computer capable of supporting cloud-based platforms
    • A dependable high-speed internet connection


Compensation & Income Structure


Compensation at Agent Transaction Solutions is production- and relationship-based.

This is not an hourly or task-assigned role; income is generated through the relationships and files you build and manage. ATS does not assign work by default. Contractors grow income by:

  • Building and maintaining agent relationships
  • Managing files accurately from contract to close
  • Intentionally adding support team services to create leverage and protect time
  • Participating in supported prospecting efforts
  • Retaining and growing an active agent base over time


ATS collects all fees from agent partners and compensates contractors per closed file, based on agreed agent-client service levels and applicable deductions. Contractors receive a clear, itemized monthly statement outlining files closed, deductions, and net income.

Additional income opportunities may exist through:

  • Company-originated agent relationships, assigned at the Company’s discretion
  • Agents personally introduced into ATS by the Contractor and assigned to another Transaction Manager at the Company
  • Team leader or trainer partner roles, if applicable


Important clarification: Company-originated agent assignments are not guaranteed and should not be relied upon as a primary source of income. Income is driven primarily by the relationships you build and the consistency with which you execute.
